I have a 97 sx se. I bought a bomex kit from autoaccessorystore.com and it took them 4 weeks to deliver it. When it finally got there it was in horrible shape. Spider cracks all over, side skirts are too long, and front bumper does not line up with the fender at all. DO NOT BUY FROM AUTOACCESSORYSTORE.COM!!! I am still trying to get my money back or a different kit. But they are a horrible business. I paid 670$ for the kit... shipped. Does anyone know where i can get a good kit that will fit???

They said it was a bomex, it is a fiberglass kit. And they said they guarunteed perfect fitment, i dont know what to do. The front bumper will fit a 95 or 96, but not 97-98.

Also, I would definitely call those ****s and make them take your kit back. And make them pay for the shipping too...

Definately not a Bomex. Too cheap (cost) and too cheap (quality). If they misrepresented the kit as genuine Bomex and it is not, that's fraud, plain and simple. If they described it as "Bomex-style" you don't really have a leg to stand on as far as quality goes, but they still screwed up by sending you the wrong application.

If it is a case of fraud, you should be able to take it up with the district attorney in their area. Either way, I would definately contact the BBB to see if this is a pattern with them. Don't file a report right away, but it will motivate them if they know that you have already contacted BBB and know what's up. Good luck.

1. you have to make sure that you requested a kit for 97-98 body not the prior..2. if they claimed it to be a real "Bomex" kit then they are commiting fraud3. if you didn't request a 97-98 body kit and just requested a S14 kit.... sorry to say.. you are screwed... you should do your HW before you place an order...4. that is a very cheap kit that you bought.... a real "Bomex" kit is white to the finish adn very smooth.. fits like a glove... and it has their car embeded under a layer of fiberglass on the inside of the kit on every peice so oyu know it's the real deal....

yeah. when i was looking at Bomex kits for my s13, i was looking at spending around $1000. and thats for the plainest kit they made for it. but yeah, dont buy name brand kits from companies that sell out of the back of tuner mags. get them from a respectable company or direct.

Oh yeah, and another thing. i was looking at kits for the AE101 and AE111. whats with the JDM corollas. they look nothing like ours. its as if after the 86 and semi-92, they just stopped bringing the bad a** corollas over here. sorry for stealing the thread, but its semi about body kits too.

Does it have the Bomex label imbedded somewhere on it under a clear coat of resin? Mine does.

on that website it clearly states taht it will not fit on a 97-98 model w/o modification

and it also, no where states taht it is an authentic BOMEX kit...furthermore, never calls it a bomex kit...btu a BMX style body kit...

sorry pal, you're outta luck

You get what you pay for. That price for a full kit screams "I suck a large dong all night long." A real bomex kit will run probably close to 2k. Take it to a body shop and see if they can be modified. If not, I think you're out of luck ...

well if they said all that then im guessing you dont have any proof that you were told that , b/c if so i dont see what the problem is, if you were told that and it was guaranteed then there shouldnt be a problem with them taking it back

i talked to both the guy who runs the store, and the wholesaler that guy buys the kits from. They both called it a bomex kit and guarunteed me perfect fitment. The fender sides or the front bumper do not line up at all, there is a big gap, like it is meant for a front fender that swoops down or something. Its messed up.

Hey if ya wanna save a bit of money on a bomex kit go to www.wholehyper.com. Its not a huge amount but it will save you some. You also need turn signals but get them at jspec.com. They have them for $150 shipped and bomex has theirs for $200. They also have cwest and do luck and a couple others. I just ordered the r33 style bumper for mine so and them seemed like decent ppl to deal with.
