I bought a used rear end with 4.44 gears and VLSD. It's been sitting in my garage for about 6 months, and no idea how long it sat before I bought it.

What do I need to do before swapping it into my car? Do I need to new gaskets, bearings, etc. ? Fill up the oil and I'm good to go? I downloaded the R200 service manual and it doesn't specifically say what needs to be done if the rear end has been sitting around for awhile.

Thanks

Fresh fluid once it's in the car.

Gaskets and seals are easy to get to while it's out of the car, so you might want to invest in that.

Other than that, slap it in and you're good to go.
