Here is a picture of the cylinder that decided to take a break. Any ideas on where she went wrong. Alos am researching my rebuild right now and wanted to get some opinions. I intend to KA-T in the future but it will be running NA for a while as i get the funds for the turbo setup. Question is what is a good compression ratio for a KA-T motor that will still run ok NA for a while. I don't really intend on going over 13-15psi on it once the turbo is on.

I see you already found the KA-T forum!

Sounds like youre planning to swap in another KA-T then turbo it. You should be able to run stock 9.5 CR with a turbo at 12-15psi. But if youre planning to rebuild a motor and run it before going turbo, I really cant say what CR to use. Anywhere from 8.5 to 9.0 is common on built motors. Dont know how these would run with a turbo though...

Welcome again!

PRE-detenation.

Detenation is supposed to happen. It's not suppose to happen early or late on the cycle.

It looks more like cyl 3 didn't get any oil, the way it's scorched. Or no fuel and it started to over heat a lot.
