Car: 1989 240sx base model. No moonroof, manual windows, manual locks, manual mirrors.

I picked up this shell from a friend for free, since he bought it just to pull the sr20det out of for his own use. Upon going through the wiring to make sure it was all there I realized it wasn't There's areas that the wiring has been cut and I'm not sure where it goes.

Firstly I have these 3 wires located by the relay box on the driver side of the car. Then this one wire coming from the orange relay from the same area as the 3 previous wires. I had thought that the blue wire from the relay went to that blue cut wire, but the wire off the relay is a thicker gauge than that blue wire that's apart of those 3 previous cut wires.

Next, I have these 2 green wires coming from the relay box on the passenger side:

Then off the main harness on the passenger side (by that relay box)There's this thick black wire with a red stripe through it, 2 black wires with silver markings (Do these go into each other?) Then this red wire.

Then off the same harness I have these wires:

So as you can see, I'm kind of stuck and my dohc motor is ready to go in too...

Also are these plugs and this hose for anything? They're just sitting here on the passenger side fender

'm assuming the hose goes to a windshield washer fluid reservoir that I don't have..Does one of those plugs go to the pump? Then what about the other 2?

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. This is the only thing holding me up from setting my motor in.

seriously your best bet would be to find a copy of the factory service manul that will have all of the wiring mapped out and tell you which wire goes to what.

as for the hose, the end your holding goes to the two nozels on the hood.

I've been going through a wiring diagram I printed up from an online FSM forever and I can't make much sense as to where these wires go...

Dude, your best bet is to get a new dohc harness from the junkyard.

Are the brown and grey plugs next to the battery intact and uncut?

That's a sohc harness I believe. The shell is an 89. And yes those plugs are intact and uncut.

Sohc, my bad. Unless you're good with soldering and splicing wires back together, I wouldn't try to tackle that task.

I can solder fine and stuff, just not very good at reading this tiny a** wiring diagram. Trying to keep cost down...and noone seems to be parting out their cars in my area.
