as the topic states i had to buy a motor today. not planning on using anything but the valve cover, front cover, and the auxilliary timing gear and anything else that i need for the s13-s14 hybrid im building. for $75 (motor plus a couple other pieces) i wasnt going to argue with the guy. we loaded it onto my truck and i was in and out in 15 minutes.

whatever i dont use will be for sale along with some other parts i picked up since i bought the car.

i would not know the mileage, and i wont be an idiot and offer assumptions. everything is cleaner than mine was except for the oilpan. but that doesnt mean much. looking under the valvecover and around the timing chains, everything looks like its a newer ka, no excessive wear on anything where it would show.

hey theone, i should have everything i need to complete my s14 head swap now shouldnt i? are there any issues i should watch out for?

heres a list of things i will probably have left over when i am finished, for those of you interested:

s14 motor, complete minus valve cover, timing cover, auxilliary gear. if you get these parts, youll have a running ka. the shop i bought this engine from told me the car it came from drove in for an sr20 swap and its been sitting.

s13 head w/ bent intake valves. the reason for all my work. obviously not going to get a lot for this one. good for a port/polish project.

s13 valve cover, clean no scratches

s13 front timing cover

aftermarket ka24 cams, ground by webb. as of yet, the specs on these suckers are unkown. couldnt contact the shop, not sure if it still exists. it was supposed to go on a turbo drift car project that never happened, no use on them whatsoever. sold with shims and retainers.

there might be some other things. ill find out when i call the shop working on my car later.
