Bought a part, but seller never sent it out to me!!!

Hi all,

I bought a MAF for my 96 Q45 off the Infiniti Parts for Sale forum for $50.00, money order sent, the seller (screen name DarkStar) never sent me the part and did not response to my emails, what can I do with that?

You should make a paypal account. I myself dont like it but it keeps me from getting scammed.

Yeah Popup is reliable. Even though the fender I bought was messed up he was understanding and gave my money back (even though I could easily get paypal to do the same ).Little mistake but I did buy a fender from popup but made the statement in the wrong area... Ive seen Poppop's for sale parts and see his threads regularly so seems like good things going on.

Where did you send payment to? If it's anywhere near me I'd be happy to stop by his house with a couple friends for you.

But this guy (DarkStar) lives in Bel Air, Maryland.

Before I sent him the money order, he responsed to my questions in five minutes, and now I have sent him total of ten emails asking for the shipping status, he did not response at all!!

I believe stealing over state lines is a federal offense maybe you should contact his local DA

It's important that you keep all the information that you have on (darkstar), and report it to fraud prevtion. They can track his IP: address and help stop internet scams. They not only scam people for money but steal are time and energy to deal with the incadent.
