So I am moving into a new office and needed a laptop for work.

I checked slickdeals.net and found that Bestbuy had a nice deal on an Acer laptop. I'm not a huge fan of Acer, but I think this will serve the purpose fairly well.

It was $399. Plus it has a bonus coupon for a printer, so I got one for $11. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/ol...28210

I know it's nowhere near top of the line, but I think it will do the trick for my basic business applications and some internet browsing.

What do you guys think?

One more question is... Anyone have any good advice on how to set it up nicely. I know Vista has a bunch of retarded processes that chew up a ton of system usage. What can/should I disable?
