I went to my local nissan dealership in hopes of getting a new car. I found an 02 spec with low miles, but could not get payments down to what I would pay for it. I ended up leaving the lot with an 02 Mercury Cougar. It is black ext, with tan leather int. All other interior components are black. V6, auto, moonroof, 6disk, all power. Its a very nice car and Im glad to finally have a reliable nice looking car to drive myself to school and work. I still have my 240sx so whenever I feel like hittin a few drifts I can take it out. Just wanted to let ya'll know what's up.

thanks, I like having just a nice car to drive around and not have to to pay for new parts every day as I do for my 240sx

2.5l Duratec V6. Honey smooth and nice torque curve. Not a fan of the styling tho.

Is the cougar the little one that looks a little like the Celica??? If so, they are nice. If not, throw my up a picture. (somebody was gonna ask.)

I really wish Ford woulda called it the Probe instead though, like it was originally planned.

Other than that, I don't have any complaints on them...

Ew?

Actually, not that bad of a choice. Still woulda preferred a Spec, but altogether, as a daily, not a bad choice at all. Good luck!

Although I am not hip on the Cougars, I hope its dependable for you. Right now that is the one thing that you need.
