Hi everyone,

A couple of weeks back, I smashed up my 92 Q during a snow storm. I posted right after that happened. Anyway, I bought a 98Q two days ago and want to sell/part out the 92. It still runs fine, trans is fine. The only reason I didn't consider fixing the 92 is I feel it would have been too cost prohibative. I'm in cental New Jersey and would love for one of you guys to take this off my hands. Make me an offer. BTW, the 98Q is so different from my 92.

Are you going to sell the engine whole or will you part that out as well?

I'm looking for injectors.

The 98 is nice, it's way more luxuorious but I still prefer the 92 all the way around. I've owned the 92 for 5 years and the 98 for 3 days and it is growing on me, but the 92 just felt more solid, handled much better, and of course was much faster.

Before you all jump on me, I understand the 98 was designed to be more luxuorious, I just think it's too much like a Lincoln.

thanks for your thoughts. some say there isn't that much difference, some (like you) say it's night and day. i've never driven a 96 or above Q, but i'd like to think like you say,,,it's a different beast!!!

Speaking of differences...I owned two pre 94s and a 94 and there is a bigger difference between the early 1st gens and 94+ then you would think. Pre 94...faster and head snapping acceleration (good)---tighter more connect road feel (good) (different bushings). Lower and less firm seats (bad for me), Less refined stereo---lacks a front pillar tweeter bad).

It works out to a toss up...when I have more dough, I'll score another 93 and drive BOTH. The 94 for those Lux days and the 93 for the hotrod sleeper days.

"Its like a Lincoln"......

Thats exactly what the 97-98 Q's are.... except much more reliable and has an infiniti logo on its rear end....
