Actually my friend did, but it's in good mechanical condition. The body is messed up... we're gonna sand it down and paint it flat black :p

I thought it was kinda interesting that the clutch isn't hydraulic and no power steering.

But, for a 1.6l engine that thing moves fast.

I've been looking around for good upgrade paths for his car if he ever wants to mod it, first off I'm thinking about running power steering lines and putting in a new rack is possible. That would make the car 100% easier to control IMO. Also this is the first time my friend will be driving a manual and I know he's crashed an automatic so I'm kinda concerned he'll be smoking a cigarette, trying to drive one handed while shifting, not turn the wheel fast enough and hit something :p

Yeah, watch out for his driving habits.

When a car weighs only one ton, it's going to be quick even with low power.

Fixing the steering isn't a bad start, but then get on suspension and throttle response (or hell, through some SR variant in there) and go from there.
