thanks
What they do is...pull everything out according to spec**. As you're pulling it out the end pieces get a little torn up, so the guy has to be carefull. From what I hear, nissan frames are good to work with; wv on the other hand, crack like little whores when pulled. Anyway, if the damage wasn;t that bad you can keep the old frame...in my case the front wheel shifted about an inch toward the rear. So, after he pulled it out I took a ride to jersey and had them chop me off a new frame piece off a 97 s14 and bring it back to the guy who would solder it on. sounds simple
**They have manuals to reffer to for dimensions, measre, emts and such. If this is a ghetto chop shop, they'll just go by the looks of it (usually works out ok). Also, when i say frame I'm only reffering to the front portion of one of the pillars.
here's my car with fixed frame and new radiator support. The twsited up fender support was also chopped off the other s14 in jersey.
Money isn't the only factor! Even though I recently turned 20 I've already grown a few grey hairs after buying this car and going through with all the repairs. Now the car sits in my driveway waiting for a new title from DMV. (thanks to witty accountants
