Lower a 4x4 Frontier? WHat the hell Greg! A 4x4 should not be turned into a mall crawler. That's just wrong!

i wont ever lower a truck. i need this thing to take me up to the mountains come snow boarding season. how does the remote start on a stick work? umm...very carefully, on this year frontier you need a d.e.i. remote start bypass/556u, and a relay for second starter. all you have to do is bypass the clutch sensor so it can be started w/out clutch being engaged. i usually put a toggle switch that comes with the remote start between so incase anyone else drives the car i switch it off. the toggle can also be put between the neutral saftey switch wire which will disable the remote start itself. not the safest to have a remote start on a stick but i've had it before, and have been fine. plus vegas heat is killer, so its actually really nice to jump in a nice cool vehicle.

Good lookin' truck bro. I really enjoy having the 6spd as well. In certain situations it makes it a challenge off-road, but it is so much fun on the street. Good call on not lowering the truck; not many lowering options for the 05-07's and it would be a cardinal sin to do it to a 4x4

needs a bumper and winch, and you to more aggressively use it. Drive it to KS. Now.

Nice truck man. That’s event he color I would have chosen. I’ve been looking at a few trucks, mainly the F-150. How is the space in the back seat? I am 6’1 after me sitting in the driver seat, how much room is behind the driver.

im 5'7'' so its pretty roomy for me. idont about backseat being comfortable longer than a 30 min drive? i have no idea. well truck was markedup to 28k, got them to do 1500 under invoice and 2000 rebate, so after tax it was at 21,9xx.

i hate the stock system. installed a alpine 9885 unit with ipod hookup and infinity 6.5 rears and components up front w/the 6x9 speakerplates.

You have made the best choice you could have made. I speak from experience, that being the trip I've been on since I bought my '06 SE 4x4 two Octobers ago. You bought the silkiest six-speed on the market...ain't it great?! My only gripe is that Nissan has no clue how many guys would buy a NISMO CREW CAB STICK! The six-speed was much more important to me than the Bilstein shocks, so it had to be the SE for me. I added the fog lamps and the OEM signal/headlamp stalk that has the fog lamp switch on it, about $325, and I'm satisfied that mine is the only SE with fog lamps around these parts ;-)

47,320 miles on it now, and I have given up waiting for something to go wrong with it.

One suggestion: do NOT allow service advisors to sell you a manual trans oil change until 50K. I allowed them to do it at 36K, and the silky shifting disappeared. The spec replacement oil? Humbug, Nissan knows it isn't the same as the factory fill. I had to get the local zone rep to OK a free drain/fill with a 50/50 mix of the spec oil and *Dexron*. It now shifts the way it used to shift.

All the best! You're gonna love the ride.

PS I'll post some images of Red for the group.
