First of all, do some maintenance, because you don't know how well taken care-of your car is. Tune-up/oil change/ blah blah stuff helps. Second, find out what you want to do with your car. Drag? Autocross? Drift? It's all up to you with which route you choose. WHen you've decided, search for it using that red button in the upper right corner, believe me, it's your best friend.Congrats on the car :)

Go drive it and have mounds of fun. Keep the money for when you think you need something. Seat time will clear up everything.

Get to the track and have some fun!

I'd recommend an LSD if you don't already have one... but go get used to the car before you start modding it!

Welcome to NICO too:)

I agree with all the suggestions posted. Don't go modifying the car right away. Drive it for a month or so, and if no problems arise, then start to mod it. You have no idea what the car needs as far as maintainence goes until you drive it on a regular basis for a 1000 miles or so

I spend three months with my car the way it is before I change a thing.

I change settings to see if I can improve before going out and getting a new part.

LSDs are great. They might bump you into another class with autoX and they might be a crutch if you drift. Start with what you have.

I change parts when I hit a bottleneck or feel there is something needed to fix an area where I am hurting.

Right now all I do is drift. My synchros are shot. I start in 2nd and continue in second. Now I have been thru three events like this. I know that I need my transmission worked on because I am not carrying the correct speed thru the turns.

Starting in first and shifting into second would be much better.

Do not build a XXXXX (drift, drag, autox, show) car before you try it out. You might be highly dissapointed if it becomes a crutch. I have a friend that is quitting drifting because he has spent more than all of us and can't "get it". It hurts my feelings because he is a good friend and I want him out there with us.
