I spend three months with my car the way it is before I change a thing.
I change settings to see if I can improve before going out and getting a new part.
LSDs are great. They might bump you into another class with autoX and they might be a crutch if you drift. Start with what you have.
I change parts when I hit a bottleneck or feel there is something needed to fix an area where I am hurting.
Right now all I do is drift. My synchros are shot. I start in 2nd and continue in second. Now I have been thru three events like this. I know that I need my transmission worked on because I am not carrying the correct speed thru the turns.
Starting in first and shifting into second would be much better.
Do not build a XXXXX (drift, drag, autox, show) car before you try it out. You might be highly dissapointed if it becomes a crutch. I have a friend that is quitting drifting because he has spent more than all of us and can't "get it". It hurts my feelings because he is a good friend and I want him out there with us.
