Bought 1990 300zx tell me what you think

I just bought this 300zx from a older lady who kept this car in prestine condition. This is an orginal, completely stock 1990 Nissan 300zx with an orginal 45,000 miles on it. Its the burgundy metallic red color. I dont know the real name of it hence Ive only had to car for 2 months now. But have to say its been the best two months of my life. Just thought I would post to see what people think.

turbo or non. You should get a clear bra.

If I rember correctly you need to have t-tops and a spoiler to have the turbo, also it should say twin turbo just above the right rear brake light.

The "real" name, as in the true japanese nameif that's what you mean, is Fairlady. Yours is a Z32. That car is in my top five best looking cars in history. You are indeed a lucky man.

I agree with these guys, the Fairlady looks better without a bra.

I bought the car for 4800 dollars from the lady. Her husband made her get rid of one of her Z's. Its also a non-turbo because I her that the twin turbos for 1990 werent very reliable as the preceeding models. I will also show pics of the car without the bra on. The only reason I had it on was going to see the ol' woman and I put it on when I have to drive on a highway or interstate so I dont get rock chips.

Well enjoy the car! Z's are a lot of fun. Only problem is that you can work an NA and its still not all that fast. And 1990 TT's are fine. I have one and know a lot of people who do. Congrats on your purchase though. You got a hell of a deal.

Well good luck with the buy.. their a hard car to come buy in Iowa for the most part. No one really owns to many of them here cause of the whether. You will have to keep me updated with the buy. I am curious to see what it looks like. Im actually thinking within the next couple of months of buying another Z32... when I start working full time and am done with college. But IM going to get a rag top this time. Good Luck with the buy though, they are deffinately worth the money you pay for them.

Matt, there plenty of 300's here in Iowa. It has nothing to do with the weather about them not being around. I've seen 3 TT's here in Cedar Falls since this summer.

Well just cause you saw them doesnt mean they are from here, when I regietered my car mine and someone elses was the only know 300zx of my body style in black hawk county....so I dont know maybe Im an idiot or their just isnt to many of my bodystyle around here!

ur the idiot atleast I dont tell everyone on here that my car is a turbo when it is not. You will never turbo your 240, but when you get it fixed you will tell everyone that your car is a turbo when it is not, like the time at Fareway when you told everyone that you had an SR20DET in there when all you got was a rebuilt 2.4L for that car.

settle down. Nice car Iowa300Z. The reason why Altiman94 is driving with stock engine because at the time it was cheaper and easier to rebuild. Then the shop tried to screw him over and didn't finish the job correctly. Also great way to get started at NICO.

Thanks Nick. He also knows about my upcoming turbo projects, are there are also pics of that in my member's rides. I did have a hard time with that shop, and still havent gotten the problems righted. For the time being, the car runs fine. Just burns oil because of the bad rebuild job I received.

Gag me with the buddy system crap, you know your never going to turbo car so quit pretending your going to now. You didnt turbo car when you didnt have a 12000 dollar car loan and you sure as hell aint going to turbo it now, now that you have a 12000 car loan.
