I bought an 09 Altima with 30k miles, 2.5S with convenience plus package (alloys, power seat, sunroof), and the carfax showed oil change done every 2500-3000 miles. Price was $13,700.
During the test drive, the area they were in had a very smooth highway. All seemed fine. Drove it in my area today, and on the highway it feels like the steering wheel "wants" to stay in a straight position, or only move about 5-10 degrees to the left or right. But when I want to go across a couple lanes, and turn the wheel beyond that's, its almost difficult.
Also when doing that, or going around a curve in the highway if there is even a slight bump, it feels like the back end wants to slide out. Its almost like there isn't enough suspension travel.
The other problem, when coming to a smooth stop, the car jerks back and forth a couple times once it has stopped moving. Maybe the transmission is slipping, or they messed up the brakes at the dealership when they changed them?
Taking it to Nissan tomorrow to have them look at it. I used to have an 07, and it was very smooth all the time, and nothing like this. Any ideas what the problem/s could be? I got a 3 year PT+wrap warranty with it.
