yes, all RB stock turbo's are bottom mounted. if its from a rb25 then its a t28/t3 and likes to exploded above 1bar (all RB's do until r34)

can't help you with the mani though...

you should tell people what you're driving. KA24E and KA24DE manifold are totally different. There are more choice on DOHC. and some bottom mount manifold require removal of A/C compressor, like mine.

I believe SSAutochrome makes a bottom-mount manifold for T25/T28 turbos. I don't know if I'd call them "good", but they can easily be found on Ebay.

the revhard manifold which is cast iron, is bith top mount and bottom mount as you can just flip it around.

^^^i dissagree.. most people knock on ssac manis only because they have a tennacy to crack...well here's what you do...make a bar that releives the pressure from the turbo on the manifold...it might cost you 10 bucks and you have a mani that works great...i have a friend with 390 on a ssac mani with no problems..and if it breaks you send it right in and they will replace it for free. i kno many people with their manifolds and they love them...just be smart about it and they will work

ive seen these on ebay and heard the horror stories on here...maybe a last resort.... the guy above said he had to remove his ac compressor to fit a bottom mount mani. would you have to do this to fit the revhard mani?....with the ssac mani what did you buddy brace it to? the strut tower, the engine? can you get pics cause if it doesnt look to ghetto i might have to try it cause the revhard stuff is exspensive

to be ohnest with you i know some people are running the ssac manifolds with supporting brackets and seem to not have any problems yet, but realistically speaking a tubular manifold made for less than 200 bucks is definitly not a quality product, doest matter how you cut it.

JGS Tools has their new log manifold for the ka24de out. Comes with the t3 flange or whatever other flange you wanna run on it. Might wanna look into that.
