What parts *have* to be replaced if the bottom end is taken apart to be cleaned? Do I need any special tools to remove the rotating assembly or to put it back in?

Suposed to replace head/main/rod bolts. All gaskets, like the oil pickup tube gasket, oil pump gasket. Also all the bearings. The only special tool I needed was a snap ring pliers to remove the wrist pins. And obviously you'll need the ring compressor to reinstall the pistons.

Doesn't look like I'll be doing that anytime soon. Lol. She'll stay dirty. I was wanting to acid bath it, but I don't want to go through all that hassle.

Sometimes I wish that I had a Chevy or Ford. :(

I know, but it's a lot cheaper to do and parts are easier to find.
