bottom end rebuild questions

Can any auto mechanic rebuild a bottom end, if you supply the parts? Also if you rebuld the bottom end what is need to be changed pistons, piston rings, conrods, bearsings, crankshaft ect...?

CHECK THE OIL PUMP AND SQUIRTERS ALSO. ANY MACHINE/AUTO SHOP SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO IT.

there are no oil spuirtors on a RB30E block, thinking of doing a RB30DETT or T hybrid, so can any auto mechanic rebuild a bottom end?

An automechanic that knows how to do a rebuild can do it

seriously though, some automechanics know how and some can only do oil changes or follow FSM takeapart instructions. You have to ask if they know how to do it and if they have done it before. talk to people who had work done by them to see if they were pleased.

I have read on some of the skyline boards the cheaper and stronger way is to use the N1 26 bottom end parts. stronger than the normal 26 and less than the after market parts like Greddy, Tomie and such.

but i am not rebuilding a RB26, it is shhhhhhhh........ RB30 with a RB26DETT head, right now i am trying to find the price for titinum conrods from this site a latin named site AUS site, jepistons to fix the compression to 9:1, this is going to be a head aching project

I already have some pricing on a RB30 using all my current parts from the land down under able to run 400 HPTW daily. He can build it for what ever setup you want but of coarse it cost more. Already considered the RB30 option but decided to hold off a little or build another later. Oh and he has the Botom end you want. Shoot me an email if you want the info.

that is the exact thing i am doing built a RB25det, you know intake intercooler, exhaust, is it a series 2 RB30 bottom end?
