I figured out what the play in the crank was all about. The bearings are pretty worn. Not to the point of failure, but definitely to the point of wanting to replace them rather than opening the engine back up in another 20-30,000 miles.
Where have you guys sourced your main / journal bearings, and thrust washers from? Basically, the crank is fine... but everything around it could use some freshening up. =)
Does the SR20DET use the same sort of crank hardware as the SR20DE that is sold here in the states?
