I know we have the cup holders in the center console which I use all the time anyway. But I've noticed that any time I try to put a soda or water bottle on the doors' bottle holder (usually a 16-20 oz bottle, about standard size) it won't fit. I haven't tried the ones in the back seats. Anybody actually use them?

Really? You are talking about the spring loaded center door with 2 holders with the rubber around the inserts? I always have 2 bottles of diet pepsi or dp max when I travel home to see the parents and they fit fine as a matter of fact 20 oz bottles are a little too small but the "soda (or if you're from Pittsburgh) POP gaskets" hold them in just fine...maybe I'm missing something?

No I'm talking about the ones on the doors. The center holders are fine I can fit any drink in those. The holders on the door are meant for bottled drinks, but try and fit a bottle in there; I haven't been able to with the ones I've bought.

Can't say I really have any problems. I don't use them that often to begin with. I use the center ones more. The ones on the doors seem to hold 20oz bottles just fine. I don't drink anything much bigger

Yes,, I use them. For water bottles. But you must have the cap on if you get out and shut the door leaving it there. Woushhhhhh all over the place. Not a good place to put yer POP with out a cap.

The back cupholders work good, the couple times I've had to stick my gf back there they've come in handy for her. Starbucks cups fit perfectly back there.

at 1st i couldn't fit a soda bottle in the doors cup holder so i just used water bottles but then i shoved a soda bottle in there one time (before i ever opened it) and now i can fit soda there no problem. i think u just need to shove a bottle in there 1 time and after that it worked fine for me. now it goes in, i don't have to shove it in. those costco water bottles do go in more easily though. but it doesn't bother me, i've only had drinks in my car a couple times. i use the center one to hold my ipod while i have it plugged in the AUX port

I haven't had any problems fitting most water bottles in the door holder. It is at a slight slant, though. Maybe that's why you're having fitment issues.

G35 has the same set up - so I carry double deuces (22oz version of a 40) in the doors.

I put a special coin holder into one of the door cup holders. Works like a charm.

That's a really good idea! I hate having to open the arm rest for a quarter.
