both tires dont spin

my car is a 1990 sohc ka fastback k well i notice my car doesnt burn out with both tires but instead just 1 tire spinns. y is that? can someone explain?

more than likely because you have an open differential(the rearend, pumpkin)

you need a lsd(limited slip differential) that will give traction on both rear wheels.
