Both interior door pillars have a buzzing noise

I have a 2002 Pathfinder and I have a consistent buzzing noise when the truck is in motion behind the plastic door pillar on both driver and passenger side. Its the exact same sound on both sides and it's driving me crazy....any idea what it could be before I remove the plastic covering?

The only rhing back there I know of are the seat belts. Your guess would be as good as mine.

Are you talking about the front pillars, on either side of the windshield, or the ones behind that, where the back doors hinge? Or one of the other pillars? The front pillars have tweeters mounted in them, which could definitely be a cause of buzzing.

Hello All,

I finally got the seat belt pillar covers off a few weeks ago and wanted to report the issue has been solved. I found that the seat belts have two fasteners. The first is super heavy duty bolt which is on the bottom and on top a 10MM bolt holding what appears to be a metal strap to align the seat belts. It appears that the small nut got a little loose and caused the strap to buzz like a pissed off bee. I left the pillar covers off for a few days to ensure that I solved the problem which it did. Hope you don't have the same issue but if you do, its an easy fix.
