it is usually the switch that has gone bad causing this to happen. the switch that only pop's the headlights up. when you turn your headlights off try to wiggle/turn the button back and fourth this should cause the headlight to go down.

Mine does this once or twice every few years.Mine goes back to normal though.It has a brain fart then corrects it.

anyways guys, the switch thing didn't work, i hit it and took it off and replugged it in and beat it up. any other ideas????
