hahah there were soo many police here at UNH....just in case. were notourious for riots after big hockey games. not too bad this year tho for the SB. that sucks about the car there!!!

Seriously though, give a lotta punked out, rich, drunken college students 1/2 a cause to mess some stuff up and it's gonna happen every time. some kid even died last night, got hit by a speeding SUV while she was walking through the streets in mob-fashion. It is fun to hang out down there in those riots (till the cops come...).. its just amazing to watch what kids will do when they think they're blending into the crowd (or wont be recgonized tomorrow).

I have seen cars get flipped, I have seen insurance claims get processed, I have seen the check arrive. New 240sx for someone...

For the record, I am glad the Patriots won. I am also glad that Justin Timberlake won. hehe.

I saw a riot like that happen in Minneapolis at the U of M campus and it was nuts. I admit I was taken in by the energy. I didn't break anything though, just a lot of yelling. The police had the whole thing on tape and arrested every one they could the day after without aggrivating the crowd.

If you have ever been near one of those situations, you would know. It is a bizarre feeling. You may not feel the need to destroy things, but it is funny to see it in person. The same thing seen on the news is horrible. Mobb mentality is something else.

that's exactly it: mob mentality. things are always different when you're in the heat of the molment and "everyone is doin' it." It's pretty easy to sit back and say "oh thats messed up," but have you ever been there?

I'm definetly not condoning all that crap, theres NO reason to flip cars and destroy things, but theres definetly an element to it that is a little different from just stepping back and thinking about it.
