I have a 2011 M37x and the sound from the Bose audio system stopped working. The screen shows that audio devices work, radio, cd, etc. but know sound comes from the speakers. I assume this is a problem with the amplifier. If so is there a way to fix or replace?

Yeah, check out the amplifier. It's in the trunk under the rear parcel shelf finisher. Check it's power and ground wires. Check the plugs on it and reseat them. Check it's fuse (they often have one on the actual amplifier, though sometimes it's elsewhere in the vehicle). Use the FSM to find your components. The AV chapter is what you'll want. Here's a link to that:

Replace with new or used same model amp is plug and play (i think). It should be readily available on eBay, LkQ, Infiniti dismantler, etc.

FSM should have troubleshooting and replacement instructions.

You might try disconnecting the battery cable. That might "reset" the system and it might work. Long shot but worth a shot.

I know a local member had similar issue with this his M37x. He ended swapping out the amp as centralcoaster33 and Debonair mentioned and that got the audio working in his car again.

I drove our 2012 M37 to town today to do some window washing at a building and the radio worked fine for the 8 mile drive. When I was done, got back in the car and NO SOUND, it looked like it was playing, I tried the volume...nothing, off and on various time,,,,nothing.....NOW WHAT? What should I be looking for? Is there something that craps out between the radio & the speakers? TKS....
