Check out this info on a new suspension system developed by Bose. Maybe one day we'll be looking for this instead of Tokico's.

Wow... I'd try it. Somehow I doubt they'll make retro-fit units for 14 year old cars though. Interesting how similar the suspension looks on the demo

Too bad those super-thick brake rotors don't look at all familiar!

I wonder what kind of pricing we'd be looking at.

That was some impressive videos. This would be great if they can make it aftermarket for various cars, but I would assume that this would only be a dealer option on certain high end cars. As far as Bose Amp reliability, mine still work.

It's amazing how much the case on those assemblies look like my Acoustimass subwoofer. Talk about a one-track design team!

Well, a cone speaker is after all just a linear motor.

The Bose name makes me skeptical. I think I'd put my trust more into Delphi's Magneride.

haha..your suspension would start distorting at high speeds...your car starts to creak and crackle...your linear actuators fade in and fade out like a bose display until the finally die giving your car a dropped down dopey low-rider look.. Also you will need a special bose adapter to retrofit the suspension with any aftermarket springs/struts.. when you call up support, they will charge a flat fee to fix something they already knew was a design flaw due to poor reliability engineering.. the first person to figure out the solution will start a website named bosesuspensionhelp.com while countless others will try to copy the repair and try to talk you into spending gobs of money to upkeep a piece of unreliable garbage which looks good for the first couple of rides, but fails miserably in execution over time. Your suspension will also display the error messages that end with the words "err" while you try to remove battery power hoping it will go away, or some fancy, new fangled reset mechanism that involves hood pin switches, turning the key in the ignition x number of times, rolling down windows and hitting the lock/unlock door button a certain number only to start all over due to a missed step.....

well, and electromagnetic analogue to the well proven hydro-pnuematic Infiniti active suspension system. Power to drive the 'Bose' units will take big wires or high voltage and will require total rework of cars electrical system to handle. No way for it to be a 'drop in.' It needs probably 50 Hp peak to deal with energy inputs needed for 100-1000 ms.
