My other car is a 1990 Chevy Lumina, that I am trying to restore. (used to be my Grandma's, so it has a lot of personal value)

Anyway, I'm in the process of upgrading the stereo, and I've been looking for a way to add some bass to the car without taking up half my trunk with sub boxes. So, I had a thought that I could pull a Bose sub out of a Nissan product, and mount it in the rear "deck" of my Chevy. Has anyone ever tried migrating a Bose sub to a different vehicle? If so, how did it turn out?

Any other input is appreciated.

Thanks!-Joe

You would have far better luck simply installing a free-air sub than dealing with anything made by Bose.

Yeah if anything just get some quality speakers all around with a 4 channel amp going to them and a decent head unit and it should hit better than that bose...... and last longer too.

http://www.bazooka.com/product...d=236Yeah, I know they're old school, but you could set 1 or 2 up vertically or mounted in the rear deck. They wont take up much space.
