IIRC, all (91-96) but the 90's models Bose speakers were interchangeable, but I can't say I've ever plugged a 92 in a 94.

Q45 tech has said that '90 (possibly '91 as well) speakers have a different amp than '92+. So I think you are OK. If you have blue plugs on the harness, I believe that means your good to go.

I have rebuilt '92 speakers in my '90- sound fine, just had to adapt the plug a little- they are expecting a different output level from the head unit, so I have to turn up the volume to compensate.

Paul, I had to use my plugs (blue) on your speakers if this helps. Wasn't very hard, just pushed in and down on each wire clip and they (all 4 per clip) came out. Simple as pushing the 4 wires into the other clip. This may also explain that when I barely turn my O.E. Bose headunit one click up it turns the volume up quite a bit.
