Now that I've replaced the head unit, now I need to address the speakers....but not sure how to proceed.

I actually think the rear speakers (subs?) do an adequate job with the lows and mid-range. But the front speakers have no upper mid-range, or highs, and not much separation of voices, either.

The question is: I have installed the special stereo adaptor that provides the correct wattage to the 4 Bose speakers. Can I replace just the front Bose speakers? How would that affect the whole setup?

I appreciate any advice! Thanks.....

if you replace them with Bose speakers they should be fine ..If you go aftermarket you will have to tweak the adapter.

I would think that you could hook the rear channel up to the adapter and run the front channel like normal. I have never seen the adapter tho so I don't know how it hooks up.

i think this is what he is talking about

The Scosche OEM Amplifier Adapter is a non-electronic interface package that allows you to integrate a high-powered aftermarket receiver into select 1994-up Nissan and Infiniti vehicles with premium factory systems. The package includes the OEA-4 adapter and a Nissan-specific harness. The OEA-4 unit has output-level gain controls for each of its four channels which can be adjusted to properly match the new receiver to the factory amplifier.

Note: If you haven't already, please enter your vehicle information or call a Sales Advisor at 1-888-955-6000 to find out if this adapter is compatible with your vehicle.Details:

* 4 speaker-level inputs * output level adjustments for all four channels * works best with high-powered aftermarket receivers

heres a link to it http://www.crutchfield.com/S-B...4NN03
