Excuse me if this should be in the audio section...I can post there if need be.

I have the 14-speaker DVD system. Has anyone actually measured the impedance of the speakers? I know Bose is famous for having some really low impedance speakers...1-ohm or similar. Anyway, before I go taking the door panels and god-knows-what-else panels off to measure the speakers myself, I was wondering if someone has already done this. I would love to replace some of the speakers if possible, but know it probably won't happen.

I realize how integrated the Bose system is. I'm just wondering if someone has these numbers already.

They are probably 2ohm with 4ohm tweeters.

Please understand that a speaker impedance changes with the test frequency.

The individual on speaker amplifier each has different equalization modules as necessary to correct for interior material dampening vs frequency.

This is BOSE trademark equalizing the speakers to match the interior.
