Is 100.00 a good deal to repair a non working radio?

Or is there a better deal somewhere else?

Work is done thru local Infiniti dealer.

Sounds pretty reasonable. What's wrong with the radio?

not bad. I went to a local audio shop and they charged me $75 and it came with a 90 day warranty. Its been a year and no problems.

I used a place out of Florida named Factory Car Stereo Repair. Their website is carstereohelp.com. They did an excellent job!! VERY reasonable price to repair the stock head unit and I never had any problems again.

The head unit on the J I owned stopped showing the station numbers and info.

Check them out I promise you won't be disappointed. They are also registered with the BBB.

you can also just get a new HU out of any nissan/infiniti bose system... if its a 95+ it will work with a $10 adapter.

At first just would work when it wanted to. Now nothing and you can't change channel.

Elwesso: The J is a 1993 non touring. Will the adapter work. I saw somewhere that a maxi or pathfinder radio will work. Is this true?

By the way I just 2006 M35x wheels on her last week. Try to get pic's this weekend.

The fuse box is on the driver's side right next to the emergency brake. I've had lots of problems with the bose radio going out like that--I just replaced mine with an aftermarket headunit and new speakers.

not sure why the radio going out would be related to the trunk not staying open though. Do you have a cd changer in the trunk?
