Bose Radio/Power antenna Ghost

Hi Guys,

I am the new owner of a 1994 Infiniti J30t, and this is a great forum. I have a problem that has me stumped. The radio in the J30 won't turn on like there is no power to it, and the power antenna doesn't come up. I think these two things are related because sometimes if you get in a press power on the radio it will come on and whenever it does you hear the power antenna making a sound like its is trying to raise up but its stuck. So basically I ride around with no radio and everytime I get in, I press the power button and pray that the radio comes on. When it did come on, it would work for 2 or 3 days then back to nothing. Does anyone know anything about these ghosts in radio? If so any help would be appreciated. I don't want to replace the radio and have a new radio in that still doesn't work, because I don't think its the HU itself. And I'm thinking if I change the power antenna that should cure it, I don't know...Please help.
