My '94 J-30 is a fine ride on my daily 65 mile trip, except for this perplexing problem. The stero works fine one day and then when i start the car the next day it is completely dead with no power to the antenna or anything else. I may drive for a day or so and it will come back on by itself. When this happens, all presets have been cancelled. It sounds to me that there must be power cut off to the unit, but off course it always works when it is at a shop. Any ideas?

Change the fuse first. Then check the harness connection. After that, I would suspect an internal loose wire in the head unit.
