Bose head unit....

I have 2007 Nissan Maxima SE, my question to you all is, my car came with a standard radio non Bose. My friend has the same car but he has the Bose system but he is changing out his head unit out. can i run the the Bose head unit on a non Bose car..... the only reason i would like to buy it is cause i want to have 6 disc changer and mp3 player, of course my car didn't come equipped. The plugs on the head unit look the same as my car..... I know the Bose system uses a different amp/processor.

try using the search in the upper right corner of the screen. i haven't heard of anyone doing that

since it's your friend you can plug it in yours and see if it'll work. otherwise ask this q in the audio forum - might be more lucky.
