I've had my 96 Maxima since October of last year and I'm now starting to have complications with the Bose head unit in the car. I want to replace it with another Bose unit, the newer one out of a 98/99. I was wondering how new of a unit can I get? If possible I want the one in the 99 Maxima/G20. Any problems doing that?[email protected]

Per the FSM's, it looks like the 96-99 Bose are the same.

Any standard single or double DIN Nissan or Infiniti head unit from 1995 or later should plug in directly. I think there's a 6-disc in dash changer you can use from a Frontier?
