Bose Head Unit Swap

About 4 years ago, I bought a Bose head unit out of an '01 on Ebay to replace the failing unit in my I30.

I30 is for sale, is it worth it to swap newer unit out of I30 and put it in 98 Q45?

Q's head unit works fine, newer one just looks a little cleaner.

Appreciate the thoughts.

if it means that much to you, I don't see why not. I tend to live by if it isn't broken don't fix it, but that's just me. On the other hand, you can make a coin or two if you chose to swap then sell, or just sell.

The swap is worthwhile on older Q's (90-96) since they didn't have an in-Dash CD player. I think pretty much all the 1997 and up Nis/Inf's had CD players, but I'm not sure.
