Bose Head removal 1993 Q45

I am trying to check the fuse in my Bose head. I have been told if all other fuses are ok, then the fuse in the head may be bad. How do you do this? Must I remove the head from the dash. If yes can you tell me how to removeThankyou

Not aware of any "onboard fuses" in the HU, but here's the instructions for removal.http://www.carstereohelp.com/s...o.htm

Thank you for your detailed instructions. The removal went very smoothly. Incidently there is a 3A fuse on the rear of the HU. It was bad. works now.You saved the day.Many thanks
