If you have a 2.5 you have to have the premium package to get XM for free.

I have it, it's cool.

I may keep it at the end of the 3-months.

I was told I need a code from the dealership and the fee is about 20 bucks a month.

Anyone have any more info?

XM Radio is $12.95 a month. Each radio receiver has a unique ID number that needs to be registered on xmradio.com. Not sure how it will work to transfer your free trial to a regular subscription.

it works just fine transferring from a trial to a regular - we did it for my mom's civic hybrid, and the XM works great.

Anyways... I tried XM Radio for a few weeks and didn't like it.

I tried the Pioneer Inno portable receiver. It worked fine walking around outside with it. It even worked in my apartment pretty good (even though I only have north facing windows). But I couldn't get it to work well in the car (even with the external antenna). I would lose reception when I would go under trees or bridges. Plus I didn't like the mounting options, I would need to have 3 wires hanging from it (power, antenna, audio out). I don't/won't pay for TV, phone, or internet, and in the end, I can't see myself paying for radio.

Sorry if my rambling was a little off topic.
