bose error code 2 for CD player

has anyone gotten an error code 2 displayed on their bose stereo screen. this error code pops up when i try to play a CD. the FM/AM radio works, but the CD player doesn't.

ok..i think i got the case of the bose cd player bug...it probably needs to be replaced. i know these things have a tendancy to break. i'd rather replace it with another stock unit or have it fixed...i think i saw a guy on ebay who fixes them if you send it to him; or he'll send you one that he has already fixed previously that someone else has sent to him.

I had the same problem. I think it is pretty common.

I bought a 30GB Ipod and a tape adapter, then transferred all of my CDs to MP3 and now I have about 2000 songs instead of 6 CDs worth.

I keep thinking about sending it to the guy on ebay to fix it, just so I can get my 6 CDs back that are stuck in there.
