Bose AUX Input troubles

Im running my ipod through the auxilary input on the Bose system. Sounded great fora few months but now Im starting to get static. And since its Bose the speakers only make the static sound 10 times worse. When I twist the jack on the bose face you can hear the static go away. Kinda like running headphones through a crappy CD player and you have to turn the plug just right to get good fidelity. Is there anything I can do about this. I donno what the dealer will say either. And has anyone else had a problem like this?

Your plug/cord may be bad try another one, if that no workey take it in. Its part of the car so it's a free radio
