Bose audio system - 02 X4

The 6cd Bose system is not playing right. It plays a number or two allright but most of the time it keeps stopping and continuing. Its like as if the CDs are all scratched up. But they are brand new and clean.

I did burn the CDs myself but Ive never had had a problem before even with cheap a** CD players from walmart.

Bose is supposed to be good. Ive 80k miles and its an 02 so the system is 7 yrs old if that means anything. Is the life of the system up? Any fix or troubleshooting tips? Should I start looking for a replacement? Is this some sort of a wiring issue and will this problem extend to any other components. Ignition system for instance?

Ya I basically have the problem. I havent been able to play cd's for the last 5years. I usually just use my Iphone or other mp3 player with a cassette adapter...i want to soon get a new head unit though..
