Greetings! I'm picking up my Murano SL (with the 360 package) tomorrow and had a technical question for any of you audiofiles out there. What is the best bass, mid and treble settings for playing rock music? I mostly listen to Rush and progressive rock like that. Any info would be greatly appreciated. MUCH Thanks!

I've had Bose systems in my last 3 Nissans (plus one I just replaced when the cassette player broke after 15 years of almost daily use), and have never had to do much setting adjusting to get them to sound good. There is no mid range adjusting - only bass and treble. Nissan Bose systems don't have built in equalizers, and really don't need them.

I use my car stereo mostly for the Stern show - either on cassette or via my Stiletto S2. I also listen to a fair amount of pretty heavy (alternative) rock - far less poppish than Rush.

My Bose speakers have also held up remarkably well, though I have one (in my 15 year old Maxima) that is starting to buzz a bit when I crank up the bass.

On all of the Nissan and Infiniti vehicles I have had I have the Bass and Treble all the way up, and the SSV set at Mid. My wife does not like the Bass all the way up in her '08 Altima 3.5, but I do. Play with it a bit and see what you prefer the sound of.
