Hello to G35 owners! I'm from Russia and i'm not very good in English, so I'm sorry.

I bought 2003 Infiniti G35 and recently my Bose audio stop playing. The CD changer is working, but it's no sound from speakers. Total silence. I checked a fuses, but it's OK. After i removed a radio fuse for couple of minutes then placed it back and then turned on a radio, there was a scratch sound from my speakers untill I turned my radio off. If I turning on a radio again the scratch sound is disappear. Only silence. No any noise.

I removed and disassemble my amp, but didn't discovered any visual damage on it's plate. Then I checked all the wires from amp to speakers with the battery and it feels OK.

I have no ideas what could happened. And of cource I don't want to pay too much money for diagnostics in dealer service, because it's not specialized on car audio repair and they can only replace audio system. It will be very expensive. And I can't to find a "donor" with the same amp, because it's a very rare car aven in Moscow and nobody wants to give the amp for tests.

If anybody have any ideas about this problem, please give me a feedback.Thank you! And sorry 4 bad English again

Hey kofanof

Welcome to NICO

Your english is better than my Russian. Where were you two years ago when I was in Moscow and needed help in finding my way around? Nice subway system. The traffic there is as bad as it is here.

Do a search for "Bose Problem"

zerothread?id=289208

If you remove it perhaps an audio repair shop can fix it? Otherwise maybe you can obtain a replacement form a junkyard?

Good luck

Hello again! Thanks for your attention to my problem. Unfortunately we don't have a junkyards for Infiniti, especially for G35. Repair shop is not interested to fix amps, because it's easier to buy new. I think I should try to check head unit on dealer service and then order a LOC (Line Output Converter) to replace amp with aftermarket model. Or I'll try to find any junkyard for Nissan Skyline.

Thanks for your advice.
