Hey guys, new to the forum and Infiniti, just purchased a 2010 G37x with Bose sound. By reading a few posts I can see most are not happy with the Bose system, but haven't come across my issue. While listening to my iPod touch connected by USB I can notice cymbals in all songs sound tinny, kind of like a low quality downloaded song. It's really annoying and I find myself avoiding using my iPod. I don't have this same problem when listening to XM, CDs, or Radio. I've messed around with the EQ on the iPod but can't seem to stop the problem. Any suggestions?

It all depends on the compression rate for the song. Is it every song or just a few. Have you tried to use the music box? It takes some effort to load, but it's great once you have a library of songs.

Thanks for the response. Yes, It's every song, purchased through iTunes, ripped from CDs, and downloaded. Vocals and cymbals are most noticeably sounding bad.
