Bose amps?

replacing whole system. Head unit, speakers, amp, and adding a JL sub. Question about the bose amps. I pulled the front speakers and they do not have amps on them like the rears. Are their any other amps in the bose system? It's kinda weird having amps on the speakers! Any bose info would be helpful. P.S. I already looked at Q45.org. didn't really give me what I'm looking for.

If they're not mounted under the covers on the back of the speakers, then someone removed them. The G50 has four amps, one on each speaker.
