were you looking for the 7 disk option? In all seriousness you can take it out and take it apart but that is a nightmare speaking from experience. I'd say suck it up and pay a service shop a few bills to fix it and know that it will come back working properly.

Any type of CD changer, whether in-dash or trunk mounted is very easy to take apart, but don't let that fool you. Putting it back together correctly is a total pain in the a$$. Once taken apart, the unit will not work as smoothly as it once did, which means the chances of getting CDs jammed in the future is much greater.

(Whether this is a rumor or not, if you do chose to work on it yourself, I've heard never to turn the CD changer upside-down because the CDs will fall out of their slots and become perma-jammed into the changer.)

Good Luck!
