Bosch Wiper Blades Discontinued? Pep Boys? 50% off??? WOW!

I dont know if this was posted before.. if so i apologize since i havent been on the site much in the past 6 months... but I needed to replace my bosch wiper blades and made a trip to pep boys.

I went to the counter with my 28" drivers side and 17" pass side bosch icon blades and much to my surprise they both rang up 50% off.The employee at pep boys said that he believes they are discontinuing the brand or the current styles... so get them while they are hot!

I expected to pay almost $50 or more for the set... but i was happy i didnt have to... and bought 4 more sets lol

I found this out at my local PEP Boys here in Hicksville... but I heard this was true at the one on sunrise hwy in suffolk county... maybe all over the US!

hopefully if you are like me ... you might buy a few extra pairs for yourself or sell em on ebay

ps. i think its the entire stock of BOSCH blades.... not just the icon ones..good luck

I'm a fan of the Bosch Icon wipers. I only recently learned about them. I was cruising around with a friend of mine in his Del Sol and got sprayed by a random broken sprinkler. He turned on his wipers and cleared the spray away like nothing happened. Immediately asked him what wipers he had so I could pick some up. Good thing I was lazy with buying them.

I also ended up buying a set for my girlfriend's car. Hurray for good deals.

i searched on nico when i first joined and found a post that:

so i tried it... and the blades lasted a year before they started to do the chatter/skip effect.

GET THEM WHILE THEY HOT! im surprised they are the same price as the generic cheapy brands they got.

They are similar to stock, and when I bought the coupe I was like cool Bosch Icon blades, until it rained lol they are not the same! The rubber and blade design is much better on the bosch, and since we have such a stupidly long drivers side we need all the help we can get! So yes rain-x and icons FTW.
