I cannot give you specific scientific reasons why NGK's run better on Nissan motors, but i know that they do. I had bosch on my 240, then i changed to ngk and noticed a huge difference. My infiniti had brand new bosch plugs installed before i bought it. The car ran okay but not great. After i changed to NGK Laser platinums it ran much better.

I have also heard of bosch plugs on Nissans causing emmission failure, but im not sure if this is true. I would say just stick with what the manufacturer and everyone on these boards says.

ngk>bosch is the cosensus.

I'm still in the process of working out all the kinks in my car but I have to say with 100 percent honesty that when I put new plat 2 s in it ran so much better. Just the timing difference of a trillisecond made all the difference.

Try Denso plugs. They are japanese plugs and work just as well. They may be a little cheaper.

I am running bosch plugs (has 4 electrodes) in my 95 now and it is running fine.

I am running Nissan OEm plugs in my wifes 98 now and it is running fine.

I tested both cars and the Bosch plugs felt like they had improvedthe pickup on the 95 more than the changeout to OEM on the 98 BUTI cant really say one is better than the other.

I would like to try the OEM "Cold" plugs as some people say they havea hotter spark.
