Put on my Borla exhaust a few weeks back. just now getting around to posting the pics. I originally thought it was gonna be a simple bolt-up with no real problems... Oh, was I wrong...

So we took the stock exhaust off...

...and put the new EDIT: resonators on...

Sounded SWEET!

then... we tried to bolt up the mufflers... and found out they sent us the 2+0 kit...

So the fabrication began...

First, we cut off the piping and hangers for both mufflers...

along with the flanges on the back of the cats.

Then we bent the pipe.

After that, there was welding to be done. (Had to two-piece the muffler pipe lol)

Finished....

What was originally supposed to be a simple 1 hour bolt up turned into an all day ordeal... What a headache... But well worth it. Much better throttle response and a SICK sound... . I'll post the vid when i figure out how to convert it from my phone lol.

Just got the vids uploaded and converted. Here's the comparison:

And after...

The thing I love about this setup is that it doesn't have the "bumble bee" sound to it like most setups do...

Hey, the Stillen sounds pretty good too. Has that low sound too. A lot more mellow than the borla. I wouldn't mind that either.

Sounds nice.

Just out of curiosity, how much did you get your Stillen setup for?I got the borla at a steal. It cost me about $650.

ha, please dont get mad, but i got it at the same exact price you did $650 w/ shipping brand new that sale is LONG GONE, it normally goes for $950$1050 easily. and installed it myself. When i was about to order the Borla it was about $650 as well. But i just couldnt say no to the Stillen for that price

Those end pieces that you put on are not Cats. They are resonators.Very nice job with the whole setup. Closeups of the welds?

I was planning on getting some better pics of the welds and bends when the weather permitted but right now we have about a half a foot of snow so I haven't gotten the chance.

And evildky, I really didn't want to go the route of bent pipe, but I had a really short amount of time to finish it. I don't much care for bent pipe either but it'll do for now.

Overall I'm very pleased with the final outcome.

Nice to see you got an after market exhaust on there.

Only thing i don't like about it, is that the bends on the pipe are really bad. Practically 2 90 degree bends on each pipe.

Trust me, i'm still happy with the system. Cost a little extra, but that wasn't really your guys' fault. I ordered from a guy at Advance Auto parts, and told him I had the 2+2. He ordered me the 2+0, so nothing really to do with you guys. When i finally get a TT, you guys will still be my first choice. LOVE the sound.
