can anyone tell me how far you can bore b4 you hit the coolant jackets? on a ka. i have heard of a ka run bored 40 over, and i have heard talk of one being bored 60 over, but that was talk so.... im not rele sure. i dont want to ruin my block. but i want a descent bore. with a little room to spare. 30 over just doesnt seem much.

go more conservative. you'll want to talk to your machinist after you figure out your goals for what the output of this motor will be, the composition of the pistons (coatings as well if you're going to use coatings on the skirts and so on), and how much you're willing to sacrifice for power vs longevity.
